This was posted on the red paintings facebook... soooo I thought seeing as i took the shot (with sooo much help from so many people) Id post this here too.
One of the shots taken in February for Brisbane Band The Red Paintings [link] This particular shot was created when Trash was wandering behind the projection screen and came up with the idea that the band should be photographed behind it instead of just in front of it. My god brisbane was so freaking hot that day. I feel sorry for the band members having me... the angry frustraited photographer and then having to wear kimonos and crazy outfits in such amazing heat.
Created as a preview shot for their Upcoming album "The Revolutions Never Coming" - or something to that extent. It may not get used... but ya know.
Created with a massive rear projection screen in an old photo studio out the back of Alchemix Studios in Brisbane.
Assisting on this crazy insane photo shoot was:
*mystikeel - aka Claire, Paul (Mr Rude Boy Skanker) and Mischa - Many thanks to them for all their amazing efforts.
Backdrop painted by the ever so amazing Miss ~Hierodulai - much much love to her
